- Faber Piano Adventures : Faber Piano Adventures offer a well-rounded method series that works well for older students (2nd grade+) and students who are visual learners. They also have an accelerated series for teenage students and an adult method series.
- Piano Safari : Just as each student is unique in his learning style and abilities, each piano teaching method is unique. Finding the best method approach for each student is important. Here is a link for one that I often find works well with younger students and those who learn kinesthetically or aurally versus visually. Please note that Piano Safari is not available through Amazon.
- Supplementary Material : In addition to their method series, Faber has a treasure trove of supplementary material with leveled Christmas, Disney, Hymn, Classical, Popular books and more! These supplementary books are great for student motivation and the reinforcement of concepts learned in the method books. If your child is learning from Faber books or a similar method series, I highly recommend purchasing a few of Faber's supplementary books just for fun. The students love them!
